Pressure Cooker Corn Chowder
This is a great year round recipe that is easy to fix, and it makes a hearty chowder that has many possibilities.
Use your pressure cooker to make this recipe.
Ingredients
frozen hash browns
cooked ham
frozen or fresh corn
peppers
onions
cream of mushroom soup
milk
coconut cream
salt and pepper
salsa (optional)
How to Prepare:
Prepare and measure the following ingredients:
1 cup frozen hash browns with peppers and onions
1 cup cooked ham, diced
1 pkg (10 oz) frozen corn
1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
2 to 2 1/2 cups milk and 1/2 cup of coconut creme (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Cooking you Meal:
You may want to saute’ the onions and peppers breifly (you can do this in many pressure cookers). Then put the rest of the ingredients in the Pressure Cooker and stir to combine the ingredients. You can cook this on “Slow Cook” on your cooker and it will take several hours for it to cook, or if you need to make a faster meal, you can use something like a multigrain or vegetable cooking setting. These settings will depend on your Pressure Cooker. Sometimes a little experimenting is required!
Add more seasoning or salsa if desired.
